Bridgewater is a great neighborhood in Fort Wayne’s Aboite Township, situated in the desirable Southwest Allen County Schools district. Residents love the sidewalks that are found throughout Bridgewater, providing connections to the Aboite Trail.

A meticulously landscaped yard, with one of the most private backyards in Bridgewater, surrounds this 4,000 finished sq. ft. home that features four bedrooms, two full baths and two half baths. As you enter the home, the bright and open foyer has wood floors that run through to the kitchen and breakfast nook. Just off the foyer is a first floor den/office.

The formal living and dining rooms are pristine and highlighted with crown molding. The kitchen boasts of quartz countertops and a coordinating ceramic tile backsplash, a center island, planning desk, and stainless steel double oven w/ gas cooktop and dishwasher. Just off the kitchen, the family room is adorned with a beamed ceiling, crown molding, large set of windows, and a lovely fireplace with tile surround and a detailed wood mantelpiece.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a trey ceiling, walk-in closet, and a master bath with jetted tub, large tiled walk-in shower and his ‘n hers vanities – both with quartz countertops.

The laundry room has a utility sink and built-in cabinets. This home is neutral, spotless and defines ‘move-in ready’.

The daylight lower level features an entertainment center with TV, receiver, audio equipment, and surround sound (all included with sale). Also features a half-bath and a bar with mini-refrigerator and microwave oven, as well as a rec room area with hard surface flooring.

The covered wood deck resembles a large pergola and overlooks an amazing private, fenced backyard with fire pit and extensive landscaping. The home backs up to a private wooded area, with a pond just beyond the trees, all conveniently maintained by the neighborhood association.

Other amenities include a sprinkler system, built-in speakers in five rooms (kitchen, family room, master bedroom and bath, outside deck), and a three-car garage.

Updates to this home include brand new roof, newer HVAC (less than five years old), and updated kitchen/master bathroom.

My husband and I just closed on our home today and I wanted write to you personally to tell you how pleased we were with our agent, David Weigand. I believe that in today’s world we are all too quick to throw criticism or to complain when things don’t go our way, but rarely do we stop and take time to thank someone for a job well done. And while I sure hope David knows how happy we were to have worked with him, I felt it equally important for you to know this as well.

We met with a few agents before deciding on Reecer Properties and specifically, David. Alan and I both felt he was a good fit but the decision we really left to me since I would be the one working one on one throughout the process. Hands down that decision was David! He was organized and professional, yet very personal.

We had a few “hiccups” along the way from the buyer’s end…very poor communication and a last minute delay in closing. What we thought might be a “slight” delay, turned out to be a three week delay due to a complete restructuring of their loan. We found this out less than 24 hours before our scheduled closing.

Throughout it all, David was fantastic! He was calm, he was informed, and he was available whenever we reached out either by phone, text, or email. He always responded immediately. And no matter how difficult or stressful this process became, he managed to keep this middle-ages, menopausal old mom calm and at ease (while he was shouldering the stress himself). He is truly seasoned well beyond his years.

While I’m sure you are well aware of David’s qualifications and outstanding character, I wanted to personally thank you for providing us with not only a top-notch real estate agent, but also a truly wonderful young man to work with. I wish him nothing but the best professionally, as well as personally, in the years to come.
